Q: Do you sell gift vouchers?
A: We offer gift vouchers which can be purchased via our website. Vouchers are available incrementally from $50 and are valid for 3 years. Gift vouchers purchased online can be emailed directly to yourself or to the recipient immediately- or posted as a gift card which will be sent to the purchaser or recipient via Australia Post. Gift vouchers can also be purchased and collected at the cellar door during opening hours. Harman Wines Gift Vouchers can be redeemed in full at the Harman Wines Cellar Door and Restaurant on any food, wine or produce purchases.
Q: Can I use my gift voucher to buy wine online?
A: No – all purchases with a voucher are to be redeemed for on site purchases only. To redeem your voucher at our Cellar Door or Restaurant, it is essential to please bring the physical voucher with you and simply present it to the staff upon payment. Vouchers must be redeemed in full.
Q: What is the expiry date of my gift voucher?
A: Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.
Q: I have an expired gift voucher, can I arrange an extension?
A: Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years and can be extended by a maximum of 1 month after the expiry date by request in advance and approval by the Harman Wines team.
Q: Do you hold weddings at your winery / cellar door?
A: We do host weddings at our venue. We can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests for seated and 120 guests for stand up cocktail style weddings receptions. Please see our functions page for more information.
Q: Can we BYO wine?
A: No, we do not allow any food or drinks to be brought in (other than a cake for celebrations)
Q: Can we bring our own cake?
A: Cakes are allowed to be brought in if celebrating a birthday or special occasion but please note a cake surcharge will apply $2.50pp.
Q: Do you accommodate dietary requirements and allergies?
A: All dietary requirements should be communicated at the time you make your reservation, either by phone, email or through the online booking system. In the case of certain allergies, some dishes may have to be omitted. Please note that while we endeavour to accommodate customers who have food allergies or intolerances, we cannot guarantee allergy free meals.
Q: Do you charge a surcharge on Sundays or Public holidays?
A: We charge a 15% surcharge on Victorian public holidays.
Q: How far in advance do you take bookings?
A: Bookings can be made up to 45 days in advance. Bookings are confirmed via automated text message and email, and reminder messages will be sent before your booking date.
Q: What should I do if I’m running late?
A: We understand travel times and traffic can be difficult to predict. You may certainly call us to advise if you are running late however please be aware we are often unable to respond to calls during service hours. We do however allow a 15 minute window for lateness although running late may impact on your experience if your arrival coincides with another later sitting.
Q: Do you take walk-ins?
A: We do allow walkins when tables are available. Please note tables can be booked up to 45 days in advance and popular dates are often booked out weeks in advance. We advise visitors to book ahead if they can. Please understand that if you do decide to walk in and tables have already been booked we may not be able to seat you
Q: Are you pet friendly?
A: Pets are allowed onsite however not in the cellar door or restaurant building nor can pets be accommodated on the pergola or the outdoor bar area. We are a working farm with numerous farm animals that can be spooked by dogs in close proximity. There are limited outdoor areas for pets and a very busy car park close by to these areas therefore we recommend you do not bring your pets with you when visiting.
Q: Can you send wines internationally?
A: No we currently don’t send wine outside of Australia, Stay tuned though as we are working on changing this.
Q: I ordered wine online, how long will it take to arrive to me?
A: Depending on your location, wine will take an average of 5-10 working days to arrive. We use Australia Post wine postage services and will send you tracking information provided you have given permission via email to do so. Should you require the wine urgently please contact our Cellar Door to arrange express post or courier service.
Q: What is your cancellation policy
A: At the time of making a booking, to confirm this booking we take a credit card number for pre-authorisation purposes only.
Please note this is not a deposit and nothing will be debited from your card when making this booking.
However, if you cancel within 24 hours of your booking or don’t show up for your booking on the day, a cancellation fee per person
may be taken as per our terms and conditions.
Q: Do you have a shuttle bus to and from your venue?
A: We do not have a shuttle bus (but it is something we hope to get in the future). In the meantime we can recommend the following local transport providers that happily bring guests to our venue.
